The job starts with the door disconnected from the opener and pulled down by hand so we can walk each roller out of the track without tension on the cables. We check the track alignment at the same time, since a track that's a quarter-inch out of plumb will chew through a fresh roller in a couple of years the same way it chewed through the old one.
We also check the hinges the rollers sit in.
